چکیده

Corn steep liquor is a kind of intractable organic waste liquidproduced during the processing corn starch. But it rich in nutrients, soluble protein, and amino acids could be used as nitrogen source inthe fermentation industry. Many starch enterprises cannot directlyutilize choose to discharge directly, thus causingenvironmental pollution. Studies have shown that high ammonia cornsteep can promote increase microbial biomass. B. subtilisis dominant strain flora liquor, classicstrain research industrial production biological bacterialfertilizer. In this study, subtilis 3301, which issuitable for high-density cultivation was screened first. Then optimal parameters, like concentration,pH, inoculation amount bacteria were analyzed by three-factor andthree-level Response Surface (RSM) analysis experiment. The highest celldensity obtained when concentration 145 g·L-1, pH 7 inoculationamount 8. Then dynamic changes cultured cornpulp beef extract peptone medium (NB) compared under response surfaceoptimization conditions. results showed subtiliscultured pulp significantlyhigher than NB medium. Finally, effect fed-batch glucoseon culture investigated andthe feeding with glucose, number viablebacteria reach 1.75 × 1010 CFUmL-1, issignificantly higher viable without feedingglucose. All above show optimized using cheapcorn-steep shows good level. provide atheoretical reference further improving biomass bacterialfertilizer at same time practical theindustrial bacterial fertilizer reduce cost ofraw materials, alleviate pollution environmentand development crop

Biosurfactant production by Bacillus subtilis using corn steep liquor as culture medium

In this work, biosurfactant production by Bacillus subtilis #573 was evaluated using corn steep liquor (CSL) as culture medium. The best results were obtained in a culture medium consisting of 10% (v/v) of CSL, with a biosurfactant production of about 1.3 g/l. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report describing biosurfactant production by B. subtilis using CSL as culture medium. S...

Production of Bacterial Cellulose by Gluconacetobacter hansenii Using Corn Steep Liquor As Nutrient Sources

Cellulose is mainly produced by plants, although many bacteria, especially those belonging to the genus Gluconacetobacter, produce a very peculiar form of cellulose with mechanical and structural properties that can be exploited in numerous applications. However, the production cost of bacterial cellulose (BC) is very high to the use of expensive culture media, poor yields, downstream processin...

Waste Soybean Oil and Corn Steep Liquor as Economic Substrates for Bioemulsifier and Biodiesel Production by Candida lipolytica UCP 0998

Almost all oleaginous microorganisms are available for biodiesel production, and for the mechanism of oil accumulation, which is what makes a microbial approach economically competitive. This study investigated the potential that the yeast Candida lipolytica UCP0988, in an anamorphous state, has to produce simultaneously a bioemulsifier and to accumulate lipids using inexpensive and alternative...

Brewer’s spent grain and corn steep liquor as alternative culture medium substrates for proteinase production by Streptomyces malaysiensis AMT-3

Brewer's spent grain and corn steep liquor or yeast extract were used as the sole organic forms for proteinase production by Streptomyces malaysiensis in submerged fermentation. The influence of the C and N concentrations, as well as the incubation periods, were assessed. Eight proteolytic bands were detected through gelatin-gel-electrophoresis in the various extracts obtained from the differen...

Evaluation Effect of Biological Fertilizer (Nitroxin case study) on Corn (Zea mays L.) Crop Production

The use of renewable resources and inputs is one of the fundamental principles of sustainable agriculture that enables maximum crop productivity and minimal environmental risk. Nutrient management may be achieved by the involvement of organic sources, bio-fertilizers, and micro-nutrients. Indiscriminate use of chemical fertilizers to achieve high yield and to compensate for lack of nutrients an...
